Beginner Sailing Lessons
Taster Session: This 2 hour session introduces you to sailing and gives you some of the basics. If you love it and want to learn more you can continue with hourly lessons or a level 1 course. Price List
RYA Level 1: Introducing you to sailing with all you need to know to get afloat under supervision. This is a 2 day course aimed at the beginner. It teaches you how to sail in all directions, including an awareness of launching and recovering, enabling you to sail in light winds under supervision. Price List
RYA Level 2: Setting out the foundations of sailing for you, this 2 day course, builds on the skills of level 1. It covers rigging, launching, sailing in all directions, capsize and essential safety knowledge, enabling you to sail and make decisions in good conditions. Price List
RYA Level 1 and 2 can be combined into a 4 or 5 day course.
Clubs: If you would prefer to do a little each week rather than a concentrated course then have a look at our clubs page.
Hourly Tuition: We also offer hourly tuition - whether it's some private tuition you are looking for or a group of you want to have a go, hourly tuition allows you to book something that specifically meets your needs. Price List
Joyride: Alternatively, if you are not interested in a lesson, a joyride might be for you. Let one of our instructors take you out for a tour around the bay, enjoy the feeling of being on a boat, the wind in your hair and let some-one else do the hard work. Price List
