Intermediate Sailing Lessons
RYA level 3: This aims to consolidate level 1 and 2 skills and gives you the opportunity to try some new ones. At the end of the course you should be confident in the basic sailing skills and techniques, and ready to progress onto the next modules. Price List
As a confident level 2 sailor you are ready to progress onto any of the following modules:
RYA Seamanship skills: This 2 day course covers launching and recovering the boat in different circumstances, stopping, reducing sail, recovering a man overboard, anchoring and sailing without a rudder. It enables you to handle a wide range of situations afloat. Price List
RYA Sailing with Spinnakers: This 2 day course covers how to rig the boat, gybe and recover one type of spinnaker, either conventional or asymmetric and how to sail the best possible course downwind. It introduces you to the 3rd and most exciting sail on a boat. Price List
RYA performance Sailing: This 2 day course offers coaching to improve your sailing, primarily in two person boats with spinnakers. It enables you to sail faster and more efficiently in all conditions. Price List
RYA Start Racing: This 2 day course covers all the skills required to start club racing, including how to maximise boat speed and outwit your opponents. A great course if you want to get involved at one of the local sailing clubs. Price List
RYA Intermediate Racing: This 2 day course is designed to build on your basic racing skills and helps you improve the key principles of starting, boat handling, boat speed, strategy and tactics. Price List
Refresher course: If you have not sailed for a while we offer a re-cap of those basics to help you get back out on the water with confidence. Booked as hourly tuition. Price List
Hourly Tuition: We also offer hourly tuition - whether it's some private tuition you are looking for or a group of you want to have a go, hourly tuition allows you to book something that specifically meets your needs. Price List
