Happy New Year - We are looking forward to the new season starting at Easter. Preparations are being made, boats repaired and serviced. Not too long now! 

Congratulations to the NVQ Level 1, Sport and Active Leisure course! We are delighted to be able to confirm that they passed their Level 1 with flying colours. Most of these students left school with no GCSE's and now have a qualification that will enable them to get into College. They also all gained at least one level in English whilst they were there. Even better news - 3 of these students have applied for and been accepted on courses at College. Well done guys, all that hard work has paid off!

June Dinghy Instructor Course: Congratulations to all the candidates that passed the course, we hope you will enjoy teaching sailing as much as we do!

Great news! We have been awarded some funding to help us get local young people out on the water. Sportivate Pentewan starts on Thursday 14th June 6pm - 8pm. Running every Thursday for 6 weeks for young people aged between 14 and 25. The price is only £18 - which works out at just £3 per session. At the end of the course there is the option to continue with us or to join the local sailing clubs at a very reasonable rate. If you know anyone who may be interested let them know and get them to contact us! This programme is sponsored by:

February Senior Instructor Course

We had beautiful weather for our Senior Instructor course in February. Nice winds and fantastic sunshine led to perfect conditions for the candidates to really show us how good they are. We now have 6 new Senior Instructors in the industry. Congratulations to them all and here's to a great summer in your new roles, we are sure you will be brilliant.

Congratulations to our young sailors who excelled themselves at the Roadford Regatta. It was extremely windy and there were a good few capsizes, but they braved the conditions and kept going, winning the overall team prize and to Matt and Jamie who were the 1st Pico. All that training and practice paid off!

RYA Dinghy Instructor Courses at Pentewan Sailing, Cornwall - £310

2011 - Happy New Year! Bookings now being taken for 2011, prices are held at 2010 prices until March so book now to ensure the best deal and avoid disappointment. Courses can be booked at these prices for any date in 2011 so long as the deposit is paid before the end of February.

December 2010 - Sailing and Powerboat lessons make ideal Christmas gifts.  We offer gift vouchers towards specific courses, or more general vouchers that can be used as part or full payment against any of our courses. Vouchers are valid for one year from date of purchase, so can be used when the weather is warmer if you prefer! Please contact us for further information.
